A virtual reality proposal experience created to communicate a high-density development vision for the Greater Toronto Area. The project explored the idea of burying the 407 hydro corridor underground to unlock new real estate potential, while connecting major intersections across Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Markham through a new light rail transit system. The experience was designed to help planners, developers, and stakeholders understand the scale, connectivity, and long-term potential of the proposal through immersive visualisation.

Challenge
Help city planners, developers, and stakeholders grasp the scale and connectivity of a complex 50 km urban-development concept — burying the 407 hydro corridor and adding a new light rail system across Vaughan, Richmond Hill, and Markham — through a single immersive presentation rather than static maps and renders.
Solution
Produced and led UX on a VR proposal experience for Oculus Rift, with a navigation system supporting roughly 40 km of proposed development. Designed information graphics and contributed to art direction; managed coordination across 3D artists, architects, and city planners.
Outcome
Supported the launch of the Inter City Express browser for city planners and developers, giving stakeholders an interactive way to explore the scale and connectivity of the proposal.
