  • House of VR

An in-venue VR browsing application designed for House of VR, a Toronto virtual reality lounge and event space. The browser allowed guests to explore VR games and videos available at the venue, preview content before loading, browse curated categories, request staff assistance, and review rental time while inside the experience. House of VR launched as a VR lounge and event space in 2017, and later announced the closure of that physical venue as it shifted to a mobile/events model.

  • Delivered a branded VR browser experience for House of VR's Toronto venue
  • Created staff-support features that improved floor operations and guest assistance

Challenge

Help guests at a public VR lounge discover, preview, and launch the right experience without leaving the headset — while giving venue staff the tools to support them remotely and keep the floor running smoothly.

Solution

Built a styled, branded VR content browser with an underlying framework and database for content access, in-VR previewing, curated categories and staff picks, plus tools for guests to request staff help and monitor rental time.

Outcome

Delivered a branded VR browser experience for House of VR's Toronto venue. The staff-support features improved floor operations and guest assistance during the lounge's run.
